Spring Garden Church from 2018-2024

I worked at Spring Garden Church for almost six years in the position of Office and Communications Administrator.

Below are the experiences I received at SGC:

Relational Competencies, with strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, maintaining confidentiality, friendly and working corroboratively with the staff.

Technical Competencies, with proactive planning on a yearly scope, working on multiple projects, managing numerous interruptions and proficiency with software (Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, Propresenter, OBS, Security Camera software, security software) and online (Youtube, Mail Chimp, Facebook/Meta, Google Suite, HTML/CSS, Squarespace).

Working the front desk, taking calls and emails, tracking projects, calendars, managing shared files, Google docs, email accounts and troubleshooting office IT issues.

Taking care of social media, sending out weekly posts.

Editing videos and audio files and preparing for youtube live events, weekly email newsletter.

Designing to emailing a weekly email newsletter.

Creating a monthly magazine from designing to publishing using the Abode Suite.

Designing to printing signs, pamphlets, booklets, letterhead, business cards, and other printed media.

Creating graphics, and taking photos/videos for talking series with social media posts, live video, paintings, Procreade/Photoshop/Illustrator drawings and other creative design.

DELVE

While working at SGC, I had the pleasure of publishing a monthly magazine called Delve. I created the design, layout and most images and graphic in the magazine.

Speaking Series Graphics

Every 3 to 12 weeks, I needed to create digital graphics for a series. These graphics would most of the time consist of drawings, paintings, photos, graphics and typography that I created. Some of the time, I would be told exactly what they want for a graphic, most of the time I would take what they want it to portray and come up with it myself.
